Atelier Retiro is a community ceramics atelier located in the heart of Guimarães historic city center.
We are a dynamic and creative space, with full-time resident artists and others working part-time who contribute to our artistic program. Throughout the year, we welcome a vibrant community of dozens of people who actively participate in events, workshops, exhibitions, and classes, making this place a constantly evolving cultural and artistic meeting point.

ATELIER RETIRO
Atelier Retiro is a community ceramics studio in Guimarães, offering a collaborative space for learning the art of ceramics.
We host classes and workshops for both beginners and experienced practitioners, exploring techniques in wheel throwing and hand-building.
Our goal is to foster an environment that values artistic expression and teamwork. Additionally, we serve as a hub for local ceramists and creatives, promoting art with a community-driven inclusive approach.
