Would you like to feel more confident when finishing your wheel-thrown ceramic pieces? There’s no better gift you can give yourself than mastering the art of trimming. Previous experience with the wheel is required.
All skill levels are welcome.
This class does not involve throwing on the wheel. There will be no wet clay work!
Students will be provided with leather-hard pieces to practise trimming during the class.
Students will leave with the skills needed to work independently and with confidence, although no finished pieces will be taken home.
The price includes the 23% VAT applicable in Portugal.
This service is non-refundable, and cancellations are only allowed up to 24 hours before the activity. In case of cancellation, a voucher equal to the activity’s value will be issued, valid for 3 months.

This class is a reframing of skills already explored, not a first class in ceramics. Ceramics experience at the basic level is required to take this course. Please see our course offerings at Atelier Retiro or courses offered at your local community atelier for a beginning level pottery wheel class, before applying to this master class.
